About me

I'm an occupational therapy (OT) professor and the mother of three young adult sons, and I live in rural New York with my husband of 30 years. I've written for a long time as part of my "day job," but I only began writing fiction during the pandemic. It was a fun, creative outlet, and also a way to stay connected with my husband, Michael, and youngest son, Matthew. In fact. Matthew gets the credit for starting me down the fiction-writing path, and my first book--The Lady Guardian--is dedicated to him. We also created a podcast--The Family Writing Journey--that describes our experiences as new fiction writers.
